EDUCATION BA (Hons) Textile Design - 2.1 Extended Diploma in Art and Design - Distinction 8 GCSE’s grade A* - C including Maths and English SKILLS
Ability to work with a variety of printing techniques, such as Risograph printing, Devore and reactive dyeing. Knowledge of a range of print techniques e.g. Devore, Reactive dye, Discharge printing, etc. Confident in using photography and Photoshop techniques specifically creating seamless pattern repeats and visualisations. Laser cutting skills. Great Time management. Working with ceramics as well as casting and moulding. Great time management and confidence working to a brief. Enjoy collaborating with others alongside an eagerness to learn. Trend following EXPERIENCE Featured on TrendBible - 2023 Supported a Secondary School with developing their GCSE Art projects - 2023 Exhibited at New Designers -2023 Shortlisted for i-dott Surface Pattern Design Competition -2023 Awarded a bursary by The Arts Society Nottingham in recognition of my work - 2023 Working as a Gallery Invigilator at Bonnington Gallery -2021 - 2023 Team leader for the NCS summer program which works with 15 - 17 year-olds - summer 2022. Lead a group project for Dulux and received the Colour In Design Award from the Creative Director of Dulux - 2022 Volunteered at a community arts project working with children and vulnerable adults at Escape Arts – 2020 Micro-business designing and producing crochet cacti for a local independent shop - 2018 -2019 Placement with the Royal Shakespeare Company working on set design and prop creation for ‘ The Taming Of The Shrew’ - 2018 AWARDS / RECOGNITION
